Christmas Cheer!

As another semester drew to a close, staff and students gathered together in JC's Student Bar to relax and celebrate their achievements over the course of the semester. Highlights included a quiz, testing students' knowledge of our lecturers - 'who wanted to be a spy when they were a child?', for example, 'who supports Ireland in the 6 Nations?', and one particularly shocking revelation about which French lecturer has never visited the Eiffel Tower! Thereafter students and staff tested each other on their knowledge of hand gestures from across the world. Snacks and drinks were freely available, and although an unexpected fire drill did its best to disrupt proceedings, it couldn't dampen our enjoyment as we marked the end of the winter semester. To all our students, past, present and future, we wish you a peaceful and relaxing break over the holiday period!
